Surface-treated,
LC aligning spacer to prevent the light pass through the surrounding
LC. The spacer was developed for higher grade displays
and is treated to have an aligning effect to prevent light from passing
through the surrounding LC, thus to improving the overall quality
of display. Many grades are available for each type of spacer. It
is also possible to give other characteristics to each type.

leading to a lower display contrast.LC aligning spacer is treated
